Founder & Principal
Sara Jazayeri, FAIA, is an award-winning architect, interior designer, educator, and founder of Studio 360. Educated in Paris and New York, she brings an international perspective to creating sophisticated, highly personalized spaces that reflect the people who live and work in them.
As a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, Sara approaches architecture and interior design as one integrated discipline—from spatial planning and construction to healthy materials, lighting, custom furnishings, and the smallest details that shape everyday life.
Her leadership has been recognized by the American Institute of Architects and the City of New York. As President of AIA Bronx, an educator, and an invited speaker, she advocates for thoughtful design, professional excellence, and a more inclusive architectural profession.
A DIFFERENT KIND OF PRACTICE
When Sara Jazayeri founded Studio 360 in 2007, she set out to create not only a different kind of design practice, but a different way of working. She wanted to rethink how a design firm could work.
At a time when flexibility was far from standard in architecture, Studio 360 was built around a simple idea: talented architects and designers should be able to do exceptional work without choosing between their careers and their families.
Nearly two decades later, that idea still shapes the studio. Our team works with flexibility, accountability, and trust—giving talented people the freedom to do their best work while giving our clients the attention, continuity, and expertise they expect.
What began as a way of working has become something Sara is now invited to speak about at professional conferences and industry events: how a culture built on trust and flexibility can lead to stronger teams—and better work.
RECOGNITION & LEADERSHIP
Sara Jazayeri, FAIA, is a member of the American Institute of Architects College of Fellows, one of the profession's highest honors, recognizing her contributions to architecture and service to society.
As the first woman to serve as President of AIA Bronx since its founding in 1931, Sara has championed women in architecture, emerging professionals, mentorship, and opportunities for the next generation of architects.
She also teaches at Pratt Institute and the Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture at The City College of New York, bringing decades of professional experience into the classroom.
Her contributions have been recognized by the American Institute of Architects and the City of New York, reflecting a career dedicated to design excellence, leadership, and service.
